HISTORY:   This BMW was sold new in Portland, Oregon, and remained a West coast vehicle until purchased by the current owner in 2015.  It has been stored every winter at our facility, and has been driven only 800 miles in the last 4 years.  It is time for a new owner to enjoy the BMW “M Roadster” driving experience.  The MSRP of the 2006 M Roadster was $51,995 not including the many options on this one.

MODIFICATIONS:  No modifications other than the side and rear windows have been tinted.

ISSUES/PROBLEMS:  None, other than the Onboard Tool Kit is missing.

RUST:  No major rust. Some slight surface rust on underneath unpainted fasteners, and exhaust system.

SERVICE RECORDS:  Receipts from current owner (2015 to 2022)

LAST SERVICE:  Oil/Filter service late 2019, driven less than 10 miles since.

PAINT/BODY:  The Black Sapphire Metallic paint is in very nice condition having been detailed regularly and paint correction in 2016.  A few small paint chips have been touched up on the hood.  The front bumper was refinished in 2016 and PPF applied.  Body panels are straight with good gaps.  Paint gauge reads

1 – 2 mils on all body panels except front fenders which are 3 – 5 mils.

INTERIOR:  The black leather “M” sport seats are in very nice condition.  Only light wear evidenced with this low mileage example.  The carpets have been protected with M logo carpeted floor mats and are in great condition showing only light wear.  The door and kick panels are blemish free.  The dash and console are in like new condition.

CHASSIS/ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN:  The 3.2L, 330HP I-6 cylinder engine runs strong and smooth.  The 6-speed manual transmission shifts well and power is delivered through a quiet differential to the rear wheels.  The chassis is all original with no evidence of any accident damage.

WHEELS/TIRES:  The 18” X 8” front, and 18” X 10” rear, “M” Double Spoke alloy wheels are in very good condition, with only some curbing and paint chips on the right rear. The Falken Z rated tires were new in 2015 and have less than 4,000 miles on them.  Tread depth readings: Fronts = 9 – 10 mm; Rears = 8 – 9 mm.
